Only the parent who set up the account and authorized childcare providers can see your child’s information.

No. If you were the person to check your children in to a KidCheck facility, then only those people you have authorized as a guardian can check your children back out of the facility.

KidCheck uses the same technology that banks use to keep your information safe and we never ask for personal identification such as Social Security numbers, credit cards, or banking information.

No.  KidCheck parent accounts are free.

Your childcare provider has chosen to use KidCheck as part of their security system.  With KidCheck, parents can create and manage their accounts online to keep contact information up-to-date and create a list of who is authorized or not authorized to drop off, or pick up their children.

We recommend a broadband connection with a minimum of a 256k connection speed.  We do not recommend using dial-up as it slows down the check in process.

We’ve provided a built in report for just such an emergency, and we recommend printing the report on a regular basis as a backup.  Administrators may manually enter check-in and check-out times once the internet connection is re-established.  If check-in is a critical part of organization we recommend using either a Uniterruptable Power Supply or a laptop with and an internet access air card.

KidCheck check-in will run on any Windows XP/Vista based PC with Internet Explorer 7.0 or later.

A person must have an active login for KidCheck before they can be given admin permissions.  If you added them from a check-in terminal and they haven’t yet created a login they will not be available for additional permissions.
