Child Abuse Prevention Initiatives
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, emphasizing the importance of creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children through community support and prevention. Behind every prevention effort are families, caregivers, and communities working together to foster conditions where children can thrive.
Child neglect and maltreatment are serious issues that require immediate action. Prevention is critical for protecting our most vulnerable.
Here are the key initiatives for April, how to get involved, and extra resources.
