The Clear Winner: A Customer Story

Helping your ministry run more efficiently is always beneficial. But what happens if you make a change for a short-term gain, like hoping to save money, but it affects critical items like safety, efficient processes, and communication? This is the experience of KidCheck customer Brian Jones. He is the Assistant Pastor and Children’s Director at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington, North Carolina.
After several years of using and loving KidCheck for their children’s check-in solution, Jones decided to switch to the check-in feature available in his church management system (ChMS) to save some money. Once Jones made the switch, he quickly realized that check-in was an afterthought for the management system and using it created more challenges than benefits.
Per Jones, “After just a few weeks, we realized this was a huge mistake. Every week, we found ourselves missing the features and options of KidCheck more and more.” Additionally, he shared, “We also felt we were putting the safety of our kids at risk to save a few dollars.”
