YouthCheck – Template and Admin Tutorial

Create a YouthCheck Template

• Log into KidCheck.com and click on your Check-In Tab.
• Click Add a New Template on the left.
• Name your Template and select the checkbox for Youth Template.
• Click Save Changes and add the locations to your template. If you need to create new locations, click here to learn more.

Check-In Options for YouthCheck – Youth have the option to check in quickly using Express Check-In, their phone number, or by scanning a QR code.

• Enable on Express if you have the ExpressHub
• Choose Dynamic or Static QR Code so youth can scan a QR code to check-in
  • Click System Settings, System Options, then Check-in Options

Switch between the QR code view and the enter phone number view on the Check-In screen.

• Select between the QR code and the checkmark icons in the upper right of the check-in screen.  
  • Note: This is where the Static QR code can be exported if you would like to print and have it displayed at the check-in locations without a check-in station. 

YouthCheck Check-In Worker and Volunteer Check-In

• Volunteers can check-in on a YouthCheck template by entering their phone number or using Express Check-In 
• Assign an administrator to only have access to YouthCheck templates and those youth checked-in in the Admin Console.
  • Click the People Tab, Workers, and Add a New Worker. 
  • Enter their phone number and select Add as Admin
  • Select Youth Check-In Worker  
    

Broadcast Texting and Email to only Youth

• Leaders can send broadcast text and email directly to the youth by selecting Youth Only through the filter options.  

Enable Youth Check-In on existing profiles

• Parents and Administrators can enable it by selecting the profile. 
• Administrator Instructions: 
  • Select Account Options and then Enable under Youth Check-In 
  • Select Account Info and then add the phone number.  
  • Select Texting, Enable Text Messaging, and select Provider.  Note: Anyone under 13 will need guardian approval to use YouthCheck
